Nice to stay with western park at port Blair, I stayed in executive room with my family members. This have amenities like hot water, LED TV with cable connection and A/c. Parking and Lift facilities is available. The hotel have three floors. Restaurant is available in this hotel at ground floor. Room boy were helping on time. It is situated near Market place well connected roads. From airport it is 5 km.

Location is very good - centrally located in the market area. although surroundings r not soothing to eyes. Rooms r just ok for a night stay. we stayed for 3 nights (in three phases). though the size is bit crampy yet i was happy with the room n toilets. although some maintenance is required in 310 toilets and bedside plugpoints. Food is very average. Complimentary dinner is ok even when taken under the vigil eyes of the staff. Breakfast is not much got idli and bread jam butter on one day. On oter days we gor sandwich n juice but no egg as mentioned in other reviews. Lift was fuctional althrough other than power outages. Wifi only in lobby. BSNL issues r there. Receptionist is ok but will make you mad if u don't have your dinner by 0900 pm. Staffs are worthless. Dont know how to behave. To sum up...hotel is overpriced else just good for a night sleep.

Worst hotel with ill mannered staff.Pathetic service,non professional staff.Does not stick to the commitment made.Ac,TV,WiFi& Lifts doesn't work but they will charge heavily.Expensive room service charges compared to other hotels. Complimentary breakfasts/lunches are not offered. We regret to choose western park as it made our whole trip miserable.Total wastage of money. Won't recommend or suggest any tourist to choose this property not even when all other hotels are sold out. NEVER EVER VISIT THIS HOTEL.IT'S BETTER TO WASTE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. WORST HOTEL EVER SEEN IN HOSPITALITY SECTOR.

Western Park Hotel • Location – good , centrally located in market, u can walk down in 5 minutes for each of ur requirement . Walking close to CELULAR JAIL, MARINA PARK, MARINE MUSEUM etc. 3 km from AIRPORT. 500 meters from Annapurna & Ananda , restaurants (will rate them separately) • Rooms – we were given FAMILY room on 3rd floor, lift was working for 2 days after which it developed a glitch.. ROOM was in length, but little cramped. Very little space to walk. AC was working perfectly. 2 QUEEN SIZE BED were there to accommodate 4 people. Bathroom was ok and kept clean. May be a WIPER could be provided to MOP the it dry. GEYSER WORKING when we wanted it to work. No sunshine though. Yes the adjoining building has some kitchen , the smell of which (may be cooking fish ) is always there in room. • Services – this was the most plus point . Good staff, polite one. Water bottles sold at MRP only..(not even a rupee charged extra) while we checked in , we were offered LEMON WATER which was refreshing. Room was cleaned daily (our stay was for 4 nights) , with bedsheets changed and fresh , washed towels placed. With shampoo and soap bars. Light was an OFF/ON but it was backed up with GENSETS , so practically no issue with it. … • FOOD – we were looking for good food. the dinner was good. It had good varities and same was with breakfast. We had 2 veg items, daal, paneer and a non veg along with a dessert. In breakfast too we had UPMA, or VERMICILLI , along with BREAD toast (yes first time in our stay) with jam/butter. This was along with CHOLE BHATURE. We even got packed breakfast at 2 AM in night, the day when we left for BARATANG visit. It has sandwiches, juice, boiled eggs.. • Wifi was there , but not working for most of time, may be due to BSNL issues..(a guess) • Reception was good, manned by well managed people. Man this is Worst than a 2 Star Hotel! We can not tell you enough, do not, DO NOT OPT FOR THIS HOTEL! STAY AWAY PLEASE. I've stayed here for 3 Nights and its experience is aweful! I can't stress enough how much the hotel is way below its 3 stars, where as Google shows it as a 3 Star Hotel! Budget 3 Star Hotel as said by the agent...? Huh.. Its worth a not a 1 star rating! Issues and its Amenities Disorders: 1.) The receptionist guy is not at all customer-centric and Damn Rude! 2.) They don't care about the client's problems! 3.) Location is in a ditch! Surroundings suck! 4.) There is no wi-fi. 5.) AC does not work around the clock. It works only during the hours when electricity is available. 5.) Same with the water heater in the bathroom. It works only during the hours when electricity is available. 6.) There are big cockroaches in a restaurant! 7.) The hotel itself has a smell of ditch when entered within! 8.) Reception call is not attended at night! They will be sleeping! 9.) Rooms have a weird uncleaned dump/ditch smell and to cover it, they'll spray with high amount of room freshner, which is irritable and absolutely disgusting. If you are staying with kids, like I did they'll puke... FOR SURE! As a matter of fact, my kids did, both the times we stayed there! 10.) Last but not the least Elevator/Lift does not work. They won't repair it. We were given a room on the 4th floor! Room attendant who gets water or anything on request walks in without considering your Privacy and without asking for permission! Woof...! Yeah.. I can imagine what the issues you may face if you stay here! So please make sure, not to put up here :) My sincere request!
